As an EHR agnostic platform, MEDAviewer can seamlessly integrate with any EHR software. This integration gives the patient access to their medical images from anywhere simply by logging in to their record via the EHR patient portal. As the desire for patient engagement increases year to year, the MEDAviewer platform offers a bridge to continued health education: patients can view their scans in a very digestible way, right alongside their provider, without either ever having to leave their home or office. As a result of the growth of patient engagement by utilizing MEDAviewer, patient satisfaction scores will also increase, which directly correlates to higher reimbursement as well.
Additionally, by implementing MEDAviewer, the need to print patient images and/or copy the images to a CD-ROM is eliminated. In turn, this will reduce the burden on clinical staff.

HOW IT WORKS
MEDAviewer can be fully integrated into any patient portal, as it is EHR agnostic. Through API use, MEDAviewer calls the DICOM data from its storage repository; the viewer’s algorithm then creates a manipulatable 3D image. From there, the patient can view their images, manipulate their scans, and the physician can educate said patient on the image, as well as their plan of care moving forward.
